As we enter the fall, with fingers crossed and schools stumbling into whichever hybrid programming they’ve lashed together, leave it to members of the business community who are the ones most looking beyond the hazy forecasts.

For this latest edition of RENEW, the Times Union editorial staff will be reporting on and profiling a number of local professionals, movers-and-shakers and businesses on how and why they are looking ahead with optimism toward a 2021 where the Capital Region moves forward and reclaims much of its lost momentum.

Representatives from finance, real estate, the food industry and more will tell us why we should be confident as a region and as a nation that there are blue skies and healthy 401Ks beyond this singular year.
